I am planning to connect the USB device under test (DUT) and the Joulescope’s USB to the same laptop. Will this cause any damage or other issues?

Hi @Ranjith - Your Joulescope JS220 will work great with the DUT connected to the same laptop or to other equipment not connected to the laptop. Your JS220 sensor-side is electrically isolated from USB. You do need to ensure that your setup maintains ±48V between any of the sense terminals (I+, I-, V+, V-) and USB ground.
