I cannot open .jls files from Ubuntu 22.04. Is there some software I could download that would display them? Currently I open file and it tells me to select application and I can’t find the joulescope launcher as an application. Also the newest version of joulescope will not launch I have to use 1.2.3. It says there are topics similar to mine while I am writing this but when I go to the date range they are supposedly in those are not there either so sorry if this is repetitive. Thanks!
Hi @joulescopeluver and welcome to the Joulescope forum! As of Jul 2025, the offiicial Joulescope UI distribution only supports Linux for Ubuntu 24.04 LTS.
You should be able to run the UI as a Python package on other Linux distributions. See the README. You will want to use a virtual Python environment on Ubuntu.

Does this work for you?
Yeah that works, thank you.
