Representing a constant voltage signal in a .jls file

unlike the js-220, power analyzers like the nordic PPK do not capture a voltage signal… for the purpose of power/energy calculations, i simply use a supplied constant…

when creating a .jls file the purpose of viewing PPK current samples, is there a way to create a “constant voltage signal”… alternatively, i can always create a rather trivial ‘voltage’ section with a lot of 3.30 values

since my whole world is “joules-centric”, i actually would want the P view as my “default” when looking at a capture for the first time…

The JLS file format does not have a way to represent a constant signal. It just knows samples. You would just need to create a voltage signal with the same UTC entries and number of samples as the current signal. You could include the power signal only (no current, no voltage) if you want.

You now have the ability to enable the power plot and close the current and voltage plots from the JLS.
