Hi i have brought recently the JS220, datasheet it is speciifed we can sample upto 2 Million samples per sec.
i have ? how to set it & where,
if in below image, 1Mhz is the sampling rate, i cannot set beyond it.
please correct me if iam going in other direction , in finding out the sampling rate.
Hi @NGS - Your JS220 does sample at 2 MHz, but it downsamples to 1 MHz on the instrument so that the data can more easily fit over USB. The instrument needs to sample at 2 MHz to get 300 kHz of accurate bandwidth. The JS220’s 6th order analog butterworth filter means that digitally downsampling from 2 MHz to 1 MHz does not lose information.
The Section 15.2 of the Joulescope JS220 User’s Guide has more details about the downsample by 2.
