I’m using Joulescope UI 0.2.3 on Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS.
The new update is great! The oscilloscope view is much more useful and intuitive. I did notice a strange UI artifact. Not sure if there’s supposed to be an icon or text, but I’m attaching an image for reference:
Wow, that is some serious funkiness. The buttons are supposed to contain unicode text with a magnifying glass. I just realized my Ubuntu 18.04.01 shows rectangles instead of the magnifying glass. Not nearly as bad as your version, but not correct. I guess it serves me right for trying to use unicode and expecting it to work everywhere. Sorry about that, and I will release a software update (hopefully tomorrow) that uses a PNG icon to fix this issue.
Release 0.2.4 fixes this issue. Please upgrade and check it out!

It’s pixelated, but I’m guessing that might have to do with the high dpi screens and scaling or something.
