Hi @KK123 - The Waveform widget should be smooth any ony modern Windows computer with a graphics card. Older integrated Intel graphics is a known issue, but newer integrated Intel graphics works great.
Let’s see if we can figure out the issue:
- Is this machine a laptop? If it is a laptop, plug it into the power adapter. Also inspect the power settings.
- Ensure that your Joulescope is connected directly to a USB port on your host computer. Do not use any hubs, docks or adapters.
- If you have any other USB devices connected to the same USB root hub, disconnect them for this test. We want to make sure some other USB device communication is not the cause.
- Take a look at Windows power settings
- Start the Joulescope UI, select File → Clear config and exit. This reverts the UI to default settings.
- Start the Joulescope UI, select View → Oscilloscope.
- Does the Waveform widget animate smoothly? If it runs smoothly, great! If not, please select Help → Report Issue. In the issue report. please provide the URL for this forum post. This report will give us more information that may be useful.
