Using two JS220

Hello,
I’m using two JS220 and using the signal sample recording with both devices selected to record within the same session. However, when I open the file I can only see one of the devices - how can I get both devices to show when I open the file?

Hi @cherkey - I think that it should just work. Unfortunately, I am on the road right now and only have one Joulescope, so I cannot try this. Can you confirm that your JLS file has two Joulescope sources? You can use the JLS Info widget, like this:

If you have two Joulescope sources, you should see a selection widget at the bottom where you can enable a trace and select the source. See 2 in the image.

Hi,
When I start the session, both jls are selected for signal sample record:
SignalSmplRec

The streaming also shows both jls:

SignalStream
SignalStream1077×62 4.88 KB

But when the file is open, only one jls is displayed:
DeviceInfo

AND I just noticed that the UI has a 1.1.11 version - I tried that on a quick run and the record and file open looked to work correctly. I’m going to do a longer run and see what happens.

Hi @cherkey - Thank you for the additional detail. I will see if I can duplicate this when I return home and have access to two Joulescopes.

Following up - the long run using UI 1.1.11 was successful. Recording with two jls and opening the file gives two jls.

Hi @cherkey - Great to hear that this works in 1.1.11! I just tried recording with two JS220’s in 1.1.11, and it worked great. If you happen to run into this problem again, please select Help → Report Issue, and we will take a look.
